Mike joined Zions Bancorporation in late 2007, where he has created for the regional bank holding company a QI business serving its eight affiliate banks in the western United States. Addressing a focus on safety of funds, Exchange Services, LLC uses the Qualified Trust model, where funds belong to the taxpayer, and are held in trust by the bank, as trustee. Funds are moved only with the written request of the taxpayer.

He came from First American Exchange Company, LLC, the national title company affiliate, where he was an Senior Vice President and Regional Manager. Mr. Anderson entered the exchange business as a regional manager with the prominent independent Qualified Intermediary, Starker Services in 1993, after 13 years in the Commercial development business, at firms including Trammell Crow Company in Houston, Robert B. Aikens & Associates in Detroit, Wallace Associates in Salt Lake City, and Spaulding and Slye Corporation in Boston.

He is married to the former Melanie Weilenmann, has six children, and enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, rugby, soccer, scouting, historic preservation and renovation.
